Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and R&D breakthroughs to identify opportunities for competitive advantage
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate emerging technologies' commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to prototype validation
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary innovation teams
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
