Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across organizational functions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and regulatory impact assessments for emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through executive briefings and white papers
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable ROI analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with successful implementation
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
