Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum, biotech, and next-gen computing
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technology integration into core product offerings
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and investors with data-driven impact projections
- Build and manage an external network of academic institutions, startups, and technology pioneers
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks while balancing disruptive potential with responsible implementation
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to incubate new business units around 2026 technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or quantum cryptography
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental technologies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (e.g., Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
