Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 ecosystems
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Conduct ROI assessments and risk analyses for emerging technology investments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership reports on future technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in evaluating emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Deep understanding of regulatory and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner)
