Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotech integration
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish KPIs for technological readiness and market adoption metrics
- Chair the Emerging Technologies Ethics Council for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 5+ year foresight accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent journals
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology programs
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Track record of commercializing at least one breakthrough innovation
