Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Develop frameworks for ethical tech implementation and regulatory compliance
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote conference presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching transformative tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight preferred
- Experience scaling tech solutions in regulated industries
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech innovation cycles
