Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Identify and assess emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for commercial viability and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and technology pioneers to accelerate adoption
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and geopolitical factors impacting long-term innovation strategy
- Foster an internal culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping for future technology exploration
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging technologies
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital within high-growth tech sectors
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology initiatives with $1M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption scenarios
- Strategic communication expertise for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- Experience building and managing innovation pipelines through multiple technology maturity cycles
