Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AGI, and biotech convergence
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption opportunities
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex technical visions into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical shifts affecting future landscapes
- Secure funding through grant writing and investor presentations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for futuristic technologies
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
