Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with company vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Champion innovation through R&D pipeline management, from concept validation to pilot implementation
- Collaborate with C-suite to present strategic recommendations and secure executive buy-in
- Build and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Anticipate ethical implications and regulatory challenges of next-gen technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology adoption and implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, nanotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for tech ventures
- Global network of tech innovators and domain experts
