Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present future technology scenarios to executive leadership and board committees
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and future-focused workshops
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or futurism
- Proven track record launching products with 3-5 year development cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (e.g., IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for experimental technologies
