Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 infrastructure)
- Partner with C-suite to prioritize innovation investments and resource allocation
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 8-10 specialists
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology maturity metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making framework
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (preferred)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech practices
