Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI ethics)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget and oversee technology incubation projects
- Mentor a team of 12+ R&D specialists and technology architects
- Represent the company at global tech summits and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology lifecycle management and innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech trends
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry publications
