Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee pilot programs for experimental technologies with $1M+ innovation budget
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in futures methodologies, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $500K annually
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, quantum) preferred
