Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI integration, quantum applications, and climate-positive innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior strategists while publishing thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD strongly preferred
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two commercially successful emerging tech products
- Deep expertise in AI/ML architectures, quantum computing principles, or sustainable tech systems
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent professional designation
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/C++)
