Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with sustainability and ethical frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into product development priorities
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and tech startups for technology scouting
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for rapid prototyping of futuristic concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation management, R&D, or strategic foresight roles
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of published technology trend analyses or innovation frameworks
