Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to develop 5-year strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption pathways
- Produce competitive intelligence reports and scenario planning documents for executive leadership
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking strategic technology adoption
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy publications
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, Blue Ocean Strategy)
