Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech threats/opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for joint innovation initiatives
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior technologists and foster an experimental innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
