Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technology trends (2026+ horizon) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-gen technologies into product ecosystems
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D teams to prototype futuristic solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for early-stage innovation
- Monitor competitive landscape and anticipate technological disruptions
- Manage annual innovation budget ($5M+) for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products or services
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, Tableau)
