Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, advanced AI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Fluency in technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
