Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-generation solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research laboratories
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation budget allocation for emerging technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic technology planning experience
- Proven track record of anticipating technology trends (demonstrated through patents or published forecasts)
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and global research communities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
