Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum applications and AI governance systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for emerging technology initiatives
- Drive ethical technology frameworks ensuring responsible innovation deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Track record of launching technologies with $10M+ commercial impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data analytics and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation communities
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy publications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
