Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M and vendor partnerships with tech giants
- Mentor junior strategists and foster an innovation-first culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience with C-suite-level strategic planning and board presentations
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
