Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to position InnovateForward as an industry pioneer
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven insights and ROI projections
- Manage innovation incubation programs for prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology labs
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in executive leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business required
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience managing $5M+ R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
- Proficient in strategic frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Porter's Five Forces for tech)
