Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technical insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Monitor global tech innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes through continuous intelligence gathering
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into strategic frameworks
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing organizational technology decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT Professional Education) a plus
