Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neurointerfaces) to develop 2026-2030 strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for healthcare, climate, and human augmentation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and quantum computing pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and adoption roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology incubation
- Develop IP strategy for proprietary tech in competitive landscape
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience managing global R&D teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems
- Fluency in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
