Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) relevant to 2026 market trends
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-level executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future tech roles
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Validated experience managing complex R&D projects
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (e.g., CFTE, CTO Academy)
