Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuro-adjacent AI systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and DARPA for co-innovation
- Present technology foresight reports to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor a team of 8 senior researchers and 3 PhD fellows
- Secure $15M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals and venture capital partnerships
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 50+ new IP filings by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale startups
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ revenue-generating tech products
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks and quantum computing architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed publications
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government partnerships
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
