Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into customer solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data narratives
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven prioritization frameworks
- Build and lead a high-performing Future Tech Lab team of 8-12 specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, technology forecasting, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, Web3, or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation publications
