Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, blockchain, neuromorphic computing)
- Analyze emerging tech patents and research publications to identify competitive advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused project prioritization
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech adoption initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record launching commercialized tech products (3+ successful launches)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certifications in technology strategy or innovation management (preferred)
- Prior experience scaling global tech initiatives
