Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, blockchain, and IoT integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate technical capabilities into marketable product features with 18-24 month lead times
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech investment priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation projects balancing technical feasibility and market impact
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget allocation across 5+ parallel initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or product development with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record scaling SaaS platforms or enterprise AI solutions
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or sustainable tech
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing Series B+ funding for tech ventures
- Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
