Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Drive strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
- Expertise in futures methodology (scenarios, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of Gartner Hype Cycle and similar frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation preferred
