Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision for 2026+
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for technology adoption and ROI forecasting in nascent markets
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture and adaptive development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with future-focused roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI systems, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Technology Strategy or equivalent (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Future Tech)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth tech environments (Series C+ preferred)
- Deep network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and venture capital circles
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with thesis on 2030+ tech trends
