Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale disruptive solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation insights to the board and secure executive buy-in
- Manage a $15M R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical tech implementation and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching 3+ breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution with focus on innovation management
- Experience building strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management for R&D initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
