Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, Web3)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry technology partners
- Drive R&D investment decisions based on technology maturity curves and ROI projections
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies and technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech adoption or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact modeling
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing vendor ecosystems
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementation resulting in measurable business transformation
