Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to develop predictive innovation roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI ethics
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and industry partners
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and R&D initiatives
- Develop intellectual property portfolios for breakthrough technologies
- Coordinate with academic institutions and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in Futures Thinking or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and stakeholders
- Strong background in intellectual property development
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives or patents
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
