Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AR/VR, neuromorphic AI)
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible innovation and implementation
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized tech
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Tech Trends Analysis)
- Exceptional communication with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
