Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and disruptive innovation
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI precursors) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-facing solutions with 2026 market readiness
- Develop intellectual property portfolios securing Innovatech's competitive advantage in emerging domains
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite and board members with actionable implementation plans
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping of futuristic concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to accelerate frontier research
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech sectors
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Demonstrated experience presenting visionary concepts to executive stakeholders
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and academic research communities
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or patents in future technology domains
