Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-forward solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies at scale
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience building global R&D partnerships
