Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, bio-computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders at industry conferences
- Manage vendor partnerships with tech incubators and research institutions
- Ensure compliance with evolving AI governance frameworks and sustainability standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published research or patents in AI ethics or sustainable technology
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Strong understanding of US tech policy landscape (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF priorities)
