Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Gartner Hype Cycle, MIT Tech Review) to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and product engineers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Develop competitive advantage frameworks by forecasting regulatory shifts and ethical implications of future technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Forge partnerships with leading academic institutions (Stanford, MIT) and global tech conglomerates for collaborative R&D
- Author thought leadership white papers positioning InnovateForward as the authority on 2026 technology landscape
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation with 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required: 3+ products launched in last 5 years)
- Deep expertise in future technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi method, scenario planning, patent analysis)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML systems, quantum computing architectures, or synthetic biology applications
- Exceptional executive communication skills with history of presenting to Fortune 500 boards and investment committees
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent innovation management qualification
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum, Nature Futures, or equivalent peer-reviewed future-tech journal
