Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape studies in futuristic tech domains
- Design ethical frameworks for AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching commercialized futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or AI ethics
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with patent portfolio development and IP strategy
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Published thought leadership in future technology journals/conferences
