Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for tech innovation initiatives and measure ROI
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies within product development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, blockchain architecture, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and trend analysis tools
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy journals
