Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026+ technologies
- Conduct market simulations and competitive landscape assessments
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic labs and emerging tech startups
- Monitor geopolitical/socioeconomic shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation teams
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-disruptive products/services
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu.io, Causal Mapping)
- Presentation skills for executive audiences and investor forums
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or innovation frameworks
