Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Build and manage an ecosystem of innovation partners across academia, startups, and industry
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board members
- Lead scenario planning exercises for geopolitical, technological, and market shifts
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of implementing future-ready initiatives across multiple sectors
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurist publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
