Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market trajectories
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive industry shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof products and services
- Deliver strategic briefings to stakeholders on emerging risks and opportunities
- Establish cross-functional future intelligence task forces
- Author thought leadership on future trends and industry disruption
- Integrate ESG and ethical foresight into strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience with foresight platforms (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trend Hunter)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
