Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/scientific trends (2026-2035 horizon) through scenario modeling and horizon scanning
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with climate-positive and ethical AI principles
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon Labs as a future-shaping force
- Establish global partnerships with academic labs, startups, and policy think tanks
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven trend forecasting
- Mentor teams in adaptive innovation methodologies and systems thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis for 2026+ horizons (quantum, bio-AI, climate tech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and exponential technology assessment
- Published thought leadership on societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and sustainable innovation metrics
- Ability to communicate complex futures narratives to diverse stakeholders
