Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios and roadmaps
- Present insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders with data-driven narratives
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough initiatives with ROI modeling
- Build and lead a network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (blockchain, biotech, AR/VR, AI)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
- Experience with strategic planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
