Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to develop 5-10 year strategic forecasts
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-state roadmaps and innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption and market dynamics
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation roles with tech exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to visualize complex scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario modeling software
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in futurism or innovation journals
