Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype future-ready solutions
- Present futuristic insights to executive stakeholders and boards through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and policy organizations to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future-focused business strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional scenario-planning and systems-thinking abilities with portfolio of complex roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills using foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences with data-driven storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding of socio-technical convergence and ethical implications of future innovations
- Certification in Futures Research or Innovation Management preferred
