Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 10-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype future-focused solutions
- Produce executive reports and visualizations translating complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and emerging tech startups to capture cutting-edge insights
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for C-suite clients on future-proofing business models
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and social megatrends to identify disruption opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Proven ability to translate foresight into business strategy with measurable ROI for Fortune 500 clients
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi method, scenario planning, and causal layered analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives implemented since 2020
